Description
Macallan 1989 32 Year Old The Intrepid Collection Miniature 5cl
The Intrepid officially became the World`s largest bottle of Whisky on September 9th 2021.
A Partnership between Fah Mah Holdings and Rosewin Holdings brought the project together and was inspired by a passion for Exploration and set out to name it in honour of the worlds most pioneering individuals including Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Sir Robin Knox - Johnston to name but two.
Standing over 1.8 metres tall the record breaking bottle contained 311 litres of Macallan whisky which had matured at Macallan in sister casks 6896 and 6992 since the distillation in 1989. In 2021 both casks were married together by renowned bottlers Duncan Taylor to bring the final stages of this huge project to fruition with The World Record bottle at its climax.
To commemorate this event a small number of exclusive sets were produced, comprising a collection of 12 bottles each filled with the remains of the 32 Year Old Whisky from the same casks used to fill the World record bottle.
This a 5cl miniature of a very exclusive bottling.
