Distilled at the Balblair distillery in Edderton, near Tain, this release was part of the distilleries vintage releases they produced prior to the age statement releases which were launched in 2019. This expression was laid down in 1997 before spending around two decades to mature in oak casks before being bottled at 43% abv.
