White Peak Wire Works Single Malt First Release 70cl. Derbyshire's White Peak Distillery has named its Single Malt after the building where it is located, the Johnson & Nephew Wire Works. This first release is made using a combination of English Peated and Unpeated Barley, resulting in a lightly smoky single malt that's fruit forward with notes of roasted malt and toffee. This whisky is 100% natural colour, non chill filtered and bottled at 50.3%ABV. Only 5016 bottles were produced, this being 1740.
