Ardbeg 2007 13 Year Old Fermutation Special Committee Edition 70cl. Ardbeg Fermutation sprung to life from a pretty difficult moment for the distillery. In 2007, just before Christmas, the boiler broke down. This meant the wash at the distillery couldn't be distilled after its normal 72 hour fermentation, and was instead distilled after a 3 week fermentation. The result is a more zingy, fruit driven spirit.
This expression was matured in 1st Fill and Refill Bourbon Casks.
